Natasha, aka Fit Like Mummy joins as a Smile Ambassador
I’m proud and honoured to announce that I have joined an amazing group of individuals as a Smile Ambassador. We as ambassadors partner with with Smile to positively impact children’s lives. We also hope to enable disadvantaged children to face the world with a positive self-image.
Effects of Covid-19
All elective surgeries were postponed globally, to ensure patient safety and enable hospitals to effectively respond to the COVID-19 pandemic.
It’s estimated that between 70% and 100% of children’s surgeries were postponed. This was due to insufficient theatre space and an inexhaustible backlog. The Smile Foundation needs your helps to alleviate the backlog.
We are incredibly pleased to announce that elective surgeries have reopened at Tygerberg Academic Hospital in Cape Town. Amazing news especially for all those children who wait to have a surgery that will positively impact their lives. The Smile Foundation however needs your assistance to help raise funds to support this worthy cause.
