Tried & Tested
While I couldn’t put all of the above to the test, I have indeed tried O Nutricia Collagen over the past month and a half. To better substantiate my review, I decided to photographically document the condition of my skin from 23 August 2018. In a very short space of time, there is indeed a noticeable improvement in my skin. Two weeks after starting with the collagen I have numerous compliments about how my skin in glowing. I hadn’t noticed but people around me did.
In addition to the above, I have to admit that my nails are actually growing and stronger. I can feel an increase of new baby hair on my scalp. I have extremely thin hair and this won’t be rectified overnight as my thinning hair is a genetic condition. My injured foot is also definitely on the mend and while I can’t fully credit my recovery to O Nutricia collagen, I’m convinced that the combination of the use of collagen, physio and rest has seen my foot heal quicker than expected.
Collagen comes in three forms. Types I and III are commonly used to support healthy hair, skin, nails, tendons, bones, and ligaments. Type I is the most abundant protein in the human body and the main protein found in all connective tissue. Type II is commonly used to support joint and cartilage health.
