Hello, my name is Natasha Kisten-Skuce.
Fit Like Mummy is an unadulterated, no holds barred personal blog written by myself. I am a 41-year-old proudly curvy, potty-mouthed and tattooed mom to two gorgeous boys and a fur baby who are very much part of my journey. Ashton (14) and Skylar (10) are my biggest fans and supporters. The blog is my honest take on my personal failures and successes as a parent, realistic approach to fitness and health, radical self-love and a platform where I share my uber delish recipes. We are an adventuring family constantly finding new and exciting exploits to keep active. We are also foodies at heart and therefore spend majority of our time cooking up a storm. I am the self-proclaimed Queen of Meal Prep and can be found sharing my weekly meal preps on social media on a Sunday afternoon. Fit Like Mummy encapsulates a life well lived by a bodacious, bad-ass mom who tackles life one day at a time with her sons and fur baby.
After a health scare in December 2016, I embarked on a weight loss journey. I turned to social media to hold myself accountable. Having lost 15kg within 10 months my journey very quickly progressed from one of weight loss to one of fitness. Women of all ages found my journey inspirational and I decided to start a blog which was published on 28 November 2017. Despite several injuries I persevered and have to date dropped 6 dress sizes and 22kg.
Living to inspire has become my life’s purpose, so much so that what started out as a personal blog a year ago is transforming into a community that supports woman. The hub is in the process of evolving as I continue to engage with experts, so make sure to sign up so you don’t miss a thing.
